Torrin

I'm Torrin!  Did you ever wonder why your Christmas tree looks nice and neat and doesn't have branches sticking out in all directions?  We shear them, that's why!  It takes many years for a tree to grow to the right size and if we leave them alone, they will look pretty crazy. We start when the tree is three or four years old and once we start shearing, we have to do it every year.  The best time to shear is during the summer, so while you are at the beach, we are hard at work in the field!  We use small clippers and large knives with long handles to trim off the branches that don't look perfect.  When we are done, we end up with a tree that is shaped like a cone, with full branches and plenty of space to hang ornaments from.
