Product Information
Poly Tubing is designed for commercial Christmas tree flocking operations that need a practical way to protect finished flocked trees during handling, storage, transportation, and customer pickup.
Once a Christmas tree has been flocked and properly dried, poly tubing provides a protective covering around the finished tree. The tubing helps protect flocked trees from the weather while also helping contain loose flock and needles during transportation. This can help protect customer vehicles and homes as trees move from the retail lot to their final destination.
Each roll contains 500 feet of 1 mil poly tubing and can be cut to the required length for individual trees and other appropriate applications. The continuous-roll format allows tree lots and flocking operations to use only the amount needed rather than working with predetermined bag lengths.
Poly Tubing is available in 54", 72", 84", and 96" widths, providing multiple options for trees of different dimensions. Commercial operators can maintain more than one width at a flocking or pickup station to accommodate the range of trees processed during the season.
For organized high-volume operations, Kirk also offers a Poly Tubing Rack that holds three rolls and accommodates all four tubing sizes. Keeping multiple rolls at the packaging station allows employees to select the appropriate tubing as finished trees move through the flocking, drying, packaging, and customer-pickup workflow.
Poly Tubing is particularly useful for retail tree lots offering flocking as an additional service. After the flocked tree has dried, employees can cut an appropriate length of tubing, cover the tree, and prepare it for customer transportation while helping contain flock and needles.
